The Lollipoppets Vision
Designed for curious little learners, our Saturday and holiday activity sessions in Central London blend early years learning with playful creativity — with parents and children taking part together every step of the way.
I’m Yashan, a mother of three and an experienced, practising primary school teacher. As a parent raising children in Central London, I often found myself searching for more varied, enriching activities — beyond the usual music, ballet, or football classes. Lollipoppets was born from my desire to create the kind of preschool group I wanted for my own children: one that nurtures imagination, sparks curiosity, and supports meaningful learning through play.
My educational approach is hands-on and multi-sensory. I believe learning is most effective when it feels meaningful to the child. In each session, I aim to create an environment that encourages independence, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning. By fostering secure attachments and positive relationships — both between children and their caregivers, and with the wider group — we support each child’s holistic development, helping them to explore, question, and grow with confidence.
Our sessions are a shared experience for families. Children and their grown-ups work together to explore colours, numbers, fine motor skills, and social development through themed crafts and seasonal activities — all in a warm, welcoming space designed to bring families closer through learning and play.
Lollipoppets sessions take place at Queen’s Gate Junior School in South Kensington, right next to the Natural History and Science Museums.
Whether your little one is a budding scientist, artist, engineer, musician, or storyteller, our themed sessions are designed to inspire all curious young minds.
We celebrate the seasons and cultural festivals with hands-on experiences like pumpkin carving, Christmas crafts, cookery, science experiments, and so much more — offering children and parents the chance to make joyful memories and discover something new together.
